My business is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. My work is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my work is from repeat customers and referrals.
As an employer we like to think we value our staff and support them so in turn they support us to create good business, however, we often do not have the time, skills or understanding to help them when their work is being effected by personal issues. If you advise your staff to seek help, you never know if they have done so, or that they are getting the best help they need. This is particularly frustrating when your member of staff is a valued member with skills and experience that can be hard and costly to replace.
I have worked with independents and various organisations and understand the concerns of the employers/organisations and the independent in question. It can be a tentative place, as often the employee does not tell the employer the extent of their problem for fear of loosing their job and their respect, on the other hand, the employer will often be unaware of how work is being effected by a troubled employee and not realise perhaps that safety and moral issues that may be going unchecked.

It is important for me to understand where you as a business and employer sit with regards to the concern of an employee before I see that said employee.
I work from home as this makes a comfortable and safe setting to work for the client, however, I am happy to work within your company/organisations place of business, as long as the environment is conducive i.e not a cupboard but a good and safe working environment.
I will offer feed back on the employee such as how they are doing, how long may it take and whether there is any safety issues or work related issues, however, any personal issues will be strictly confidential and I would only disclose if the employee agreed or that the personal issue had direct effect on your business or other employees.
